In Shamrock, Texas... Crime PAYS!!! Big time!!!

David Rushing proudly confesses to computer crimes while on the witness stand. (More federal violations.)

Mr. Rushing (and his cohort in crime, Lynn Switzer) seem to take some perverse pride in bragging about unlawfully breaking into the computer systems of the radio station with stolen passwords. Of course, Lynn Switzer goes way overboard in her arguing and objecting to anything and everything that might show that what is happening is that Rushing is making bold confessions to federal computer crimes. Can you believe that a judge bought this testimony and the very DA who prosecuted the case was too inept to catch the contradictions? Or, did not want to catch the contradictions... (Haven't we said this before? Oh... It must be a pattern!)

Color Coding in this document:

Red: Refers to Rushing's admission to criminal acts (most notably, the theft of Mr. Hammond's public file (federal violation), the filing of fraudulent complaints insisting that Hammond had denied members of the public access to the public file that Rushing is so proud to have stolen (federal perjury and fraud), as well as Rushing's confession to accessing private computer files with a stolen password (federal computer crimes).

Blue: Refers to arguing and bickering between the court and attorneys as it becomes more and more obvious that Switzer will come up with any argument it takes to win with absolutely no thoughts of serving justice ever being in her mind.

Green: Refers to Mr. Rushing's recognizing that the opinions for which he's seeking to have Hammond incarcerated are actually expressed by others.
